Armando,

The WOWN site is quite a find! Will spend some time there, I'm sure.

In addition to this networking problem, other things have been getting
flakey lately... may be time to back up and do a clean system install.
Have not done so in 3 or 4 years.

This desktop is an eMachine eTower 400i with Win98 patched to the max plus
lots of software downloads & installs. Have Win98SE OEM Full CD, so think
that may be the best course in the long run since laptop is Win98SE.

Does this sound like the best way to go?
