We participated in a "walk to remember" with our local Bereaved families
organization. We walked laps in a mall Sunday morning. It's the first
year we have managed to go as the first year it was way to soon after we
lost Bec and the second year I was working, actually I was to work this
year as well but I managed to switch it. It was hard, but in a way
healing, to be with other bereaved families, I think I need to get out and
go to more of their drop ins and probably should do a group, but the groups
are always in the evening and I hate going out after dinner.....maybe in the
better weather I will feel more like it.......I did talk to a few people,
one of the organizers lost her daughter 10 yrs ago to a blood disorder at
age 16, another lost her son as a young adult in a crop dusting accident
and another lost a 22 month old twin to basically sudden infant death (
although they tell me he was to old to classify it as such ) so many people
...so much loss
