Good luck Sam, I know how anxious you must be.  How far along are you at
this point?  Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?  I didn't have
an AFP with Zachary or with Matthew and I didn't have an amnio with Zachary.
I did with Matthew.  I'm looking forward to hearing about your exam.
Sending positive thoughts your way for an good and healthy doctor's visit.

it is nice to be getting mail again...   i had not gotten any since last
friday...   i thought i had done something wrong and was kicked off the list
.

anyways i go to the doctor tomorrow and he says he will measure the
thickness of the babys neck...   something to do with the cysts...   he says
this will be the first sign to point towards the triple chromosomes...   a
AFP test will be done between 16 and 21 weeks...   he told me it does not
pick up t13 but will pick up 18 and 21...   i asked if it would more than
likely be t13 again if anything was wrong and he said yes...   so far at the
last 2 appointments he said everything looks the way it should...   i have
been offered an amnio 2x but do not wish to have one...

so that is how things are for now...
