Christina, I had my level 2 ultrasound done at 19 weeks but I believe they can be done at 18 weeks. It is basically the same as a regular ultrasound. It does take longer than a regular ultrasound, about one and a half hours, because they measure everything and take a closer look at their organs. We thought it was neat because you really get a good long look at the baby. Take care.
