[tri-wings] Re: [tri-wings]Ann Re: [tri-wings: Prayers needed for TJ

Ann,
Thanks so much. I think the hardest thing is that society has a whole
different attitude towards brain disorders than any other part of the
body. Many times even with all the progress seems we still live in the
stoneage. Think it's the Fear that produces ignorance and coupled with
the stigma it's sunk many poeple. I will be right in there fighting for
mine. The worst thing I hear from most families is that the
professionals somehow need someone to blame ,hurt the families more that
way.
Bishop Eddie L.Long had an interesting sermon on TV- He showed a lady
how the things God wants for us and we pray for are already set aside
and waiting(by placing 3, 100.00 bills on a chair on the stage) but...
We need to go the long way, the path God has chosen to mature us
spiritually and misister to the other hurting. And when we see them get
something we need and want that others get we need to be happy they were
blessed tho we are still waiting. Watching him leading this girl up and
down the isles and explaining this really hit me. At the end she did get
the thing she needed , The 3- 100.00 dollar bills. When she was ready.
Love & Prayers to all,
LouAnn
