(((((Dawn))))),
. . . Only this group understands like most don't. . . .
Dawn, even though you've experienced much loss, you've blessed us all with
your ability to articulate your faith. We really do care. Although I haven't
posted much lately, I still feel very close to all of you and want you to
all know that I've appreciated and received much encouragement from this
group of very special people.
Our pain and grieving is what brings us together. Like the Velveteen Rabbit,
we've become "real" because we can hug well.

This is going to be a bittersweet time of the year. On April 12th last year,
we lost our sister in law in a farm accident. Then on May 27th we lost our
oldest daughter, Paula. Many of you cried and prayed with us when we lost
little Annalis, her little T-18 daughter on April 9th 2004. One of the
hardest times I've ever experiences was shopping for the little dress we
buried her in.
But life must continue going on and we cherish every moment with our other
two daughters and our remaining grandchildren. It hasn't been an easy time.
Paula's daughter, Courtney was suspended from Kindergarten twice this year.
I won't make this a long letter, but she is doing great now. Her school just
didn't know what to do with her and she needed a lot of love. That is what
grandparents and family is for. We became very close to her teacher and I
was able to attend her parent-teacher conference because her dad was unable
to. Fortunately the teacher had a large box of Kleenix on her desk and I
used most of it while she told me how well Courtney was now doing. Afterword
we took Courtney and Daniel to Logans Roadhouse and threw peanut shells at
each other. How is your little Margaret Mary doing?
I've always believed that the trial is proportional to the blessing. We need
to have faith.
You are certainly in our prayers and thoughts.
