Stacey,
I've had oral surgery when I had my jaw broken at 23, but like Deanna, I
was under anesthesia. And my daughter had oral surgery to have
wisdom teeth cut out when she was about 13. She also was put under. If
you have any worries about pain, boy, I'd ask that they not do this under a
local numbing procedure. Gas will help, but even gas with an anxiety pill
didn't do the trick for me.

Tissue graft sounds like stitching inside your mouth. I know I couldn't take
it. But then, some (my mom) would say I'm a pansy. She has all of her
dental work done without novocaine. Tough lady, my mom!

Stacey,
Sorry I can't help you with the advice on the graft. I've had oral surgery,
to "peg" a tooth in - but they put me out - so I guess I am pretty much
worthless for you. I hope it all comes out okay - if you can talk them
into the gas, do it - that's great stuff!!!!!(and no hangover)

lotsofluv
