Deanna,
Jessica's stone really is beautiful and the wreaths are gorgeous too. Oh
how I wish I would have thought of something like that for Brandon's
flowers. Some of you really impress me how you are so creative and can
think of
ways to preserve your baby's memory. Looking back I just don't think I was
thinking at all. There's so many things I wish I had done, but I am
grateful for the little bit I do have. I can relate to being unhappy with
the stone. I've never been happy with how Brandon's was done either.
Like you, we were basically told that babies only get the flat stones and of
course I didn't question it, but at that time we didn't have
much money and coudn't afford much anyway. We told them we wanted a rose
and an angel without picking a specific design. The rose doesn't even look
like a rose. The angel is OK. I would love to have a new stone put in but
it's been his stone for 10 years now and I'd feel kind of guilty doing that.
So, we just fix it up with flowers and other things the best that we can.
Anyway, I agree with everyone else. Jessica's stone is very nice and I
wouldn't have even known the difference if you hadn't pointed it out. So
try not to let it bother you too much, OK?
