[tri-wings] roll call

Well, I guess I will take a turn.  
I seem to be in lurk mode lately.  I became pregnant with our fourth
child, it caught us by surprised but we were very happy.
This pregnancy was not like any of my others; I didn't feel pregnant or
have any symptoms.  I took the AFP test in June, and they called back
and said in was positive that I was at higher risk for a down's baby.
Now with my second pregnancy it also came back positive (all was ok).  I
knew that something was wrong but I didn't know what.  We went to the
doctor's and had an ultrasound and they found hydrocephalus, so they
encouraged us to do an amnio.  Three days later we got the FISH results
telling us it was a boy and he had T-13.  It is still hard to write
about this, I remember thinking ok we will have a handicapped child, but
it will be ok.  We went to the doctor, and this is where we learned the
grim statistics on t-13 that most to do not make it thru the pregnancy,
and sadly this was our case.  I was at 22 weeks when he passed; I was
induced a few days later and had him the next day.  We named him
Zachariah Isaiah, he was a beautiful little baby he weighted 9 oz and
was 14 inches long.  This is still so hard to write about, I will always
love him and miss him.  I always wonder if I had kept myself together
and not have cried and stress over everything maybe..that is my wish.I
wish I would have gotten a few moments to tell him I loved him.  I will
always cherish my 22 weeks I had with him.  And can't wait till I get to
see him again.
I also have 4 children here on earth with me.  Jordyn who is 9 soon to
be 10, Taylor who is 6 and thinks she is 16,   Michael who is 4 and our
newest addition Nicholas who arrived August 16, 2001.  He has helped me
heal a great deal, and make me Miss Zack all the more.  
I want to say thanks to all who prayed for him when he had meningitis.
A college student died of bacterial meningitis this past week,   so I
know how lucky I am and I know that Zack was watching over Nicholas at
the hospital.
