[tri-wings] Re: quiet list - Mandy

((((((((((Mandy)))))))))
I so wanted to get a Christmas card sent to you this year even though
you weren't on the list. You have so much going on right now that I
thought you needed a bit of Christmas cheer. How are you doing?
Just a question: When you go 100 miles in different directions, do
you go together? IMHO having each other there just to hold you would
make a world of difference. And candles really do make a difference,
don't they? I have a couple of 6" diameter candles that burn all
day. They are so soothing. And Alfie will really bring you a
delightful Christmas this year! He probably won't care what is in
the packages just as long as he gets to tear into them!

I (we) gave Hope an angel ornament to be put on their tree last
weekend when we got together. Cheryl put the package away and didn't
want to open it. She did after I encouraged her, but immediately put
it away again. Denny wasn't there to share with her, and I'm sure
that she didn't want to make a 'scene' in front of her brother and
his family. They have always said that they appreciate the little
things I do, but I guess they would rather I do them in private. So,
next time, I'll try to remember that. I also try to find a local
organization to contribute to that helps families who have lost a
child(ren). There is one in a town about 100 miles away. I guess
that is the closest and not a national company.

I'm really glad that I have this whole list of friends that are here
whenever I have the need to talk about Hope and not have to worry
about whether someone else is hurt when I mention my granddaughter.
?Thank you to all of you?

Hugs,
