My baby girl had trisomy 18 and turners syndrome, I know it's not the
same thing, but it is possible for two genetic abnormalities to pop up
in one baby, though they would be very rare to be carried to full term.
I don't have any experience with fetal alcohol syndrome or drug use
during pregnancy, I know the smoking potentially puts the child at
higher risk for small birth weight, and they're more susceptible to
illness during childhood, possibly asthma too. But I'm sure that's
something you can deal with.
People with Downs Syndrome are the sweetest, kindest, most affectionate
and charismatic characters you can find. I'm sure this tiny baby will
bring you lots of joy, regardless of any problems s/he might have.
