[tri-wings] pregnancy update

I thought it was about time to update you all, especially after Katie
and Brenda's updates. I'm so glad to hear you both are doing well.
Memories of Ellie are sweeping through my mind as I get closer to the
end of pg too. Ellie's birthday and angel days wer nice but not free
from stress as I started having many contractions around that time. I
miss Ellie dearly and often wish she would be one of these babies, but I
am doing better at thinking of them as new babies with their own
personalities as I try to attach to them more individually. I just wish
they could meet their big sister and I could have all 3 of my babies.
I'm also very scared of losing these babies at times. I'm trying to
think positively, but now I know that we never know what is in store
exactly and it really frightens me. I feel like I'm preparing for a war
and I'm not sure what exactly I will need.

Due to the many contractions, I've been in the hospital 3 times, been on
2 different drugs to stop contractions and am on total bed rest. I'm
feeling fairly confident that they are going to wait a few more weeks as
this all started at 28 weeks and I've made it to almost 33 now! So...
I'm hoping for a few more weeks, we'll see. 33 is much better than 28,
so I'm happy to have made it this far in many ways.

At our ultrasound on Weds. Baby A Natalie was about 4.5 pounds and Drew
was close to 5 pounds, so their good sizes for twins. This was also a
relief as I've only gained 2 pounds in the last 7 weeks due to a
gestational diabetes diet as well as gall bladder problems. My gall
bladder will come out 4-6 weeks after delivery. Then... I'll get to eat
normally again. But.. the babies are gaining so I'm pleased. I think
their just taking it off me.

Well... That's the update. I hope you are all as well as can be in the
different stages of our trisomy paths. Katie and Brenda, I'm thinking
of you always, especially as Grace and Abby's birthdays come.
