Here are the poems: =20
Playland in Paradise=20
Where do small children soar on winged rocking horses,=20
and play hopscotch from cloud to cloud? ........................
------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------
I'll Hold You in Heaven=20
The months have passed,=20
the pain has dulled a little.=20
But your memory is still so strong. =20
Though we hugged only thru my=20
bulging belly, I loved you.=20
I recall patting you, touching you, =20
holding you, as you were safe inside me.=20
My mind still thinks of you hourly;=20
still I think, "did this really happen? =20
Did my baby really die? =20
Surely it's just a bad dream!"=20
But it did happen, and now you=20
impact everything I do and say and think.=20
Never has anyone so deeply impacted my life. =20
Never have I been so aware of others' pain.=20
You gave me a gift in your life and death, =20
of compassion, understanding and =20
patience with others who are hurting, =20
and for that I thank our Sovereign God.=20
You gave me closer friends and new friends, =20
and new insights into the Lord's ways.=20
So out of all my pain and heartache=20
some good has come.=20
I now find some comfort in knowing. . . =20
I'll hold you in heaven! =20
Jill L. =20
Momma of Clara Anna =20
Stillborn July 4, 1995 =20
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am still his mother=20
In a baby castle, just beyond my eye=20
My baby plays with angel toys that money cannot buy.=20
Who am I to wish him back into this world of strife?
