You know what I would do. I would take her aside and explain that  he is to 
sick to go and it would upset him to stay for a wedding. How can she do  that? 
Without feel guilty. Maybe she is thinking he wants to go. As to do with  not 
passing before the wedding that is the most selfish thing I've ever  heard. 
Talk to her or nothing will happen. It'll go her way not his way.
