[tri-wings] Re: new to the sight

Bill & Michelle,
I know exactly what you feel regarding being older & having another
baby. I was 37 when I had Rhiannon & then 38 with Jaiden & 39 with Luciana.
Fortunately, Jaiden & Luci are perfect. There were some problems with
Jaiden, but with me & not him. I developed severe pregnancy induced
hypertension & the only solution was delivery. So, he was delivered at 31
wks. weighing 3# 14oz. & 16" long. He spent a month in the NICU & came home
on a heart & apnea monitor. But he never had any problems after coming home
& is a real live wire today! He is not behind in anything other than speech
& that's because he will only say a word 1x & not again. Once he shows us
he can do it he's finished!
Sorry to run on so. I'm deprived of adult contact during the day & that
carries over. Anyway, stay positive & focus on the fact that there is only
a 1-2 percent chance of the same thing happening again. Of course I know
you won't be completely at ease until after delivery & you have your healthy
bundle of joy. You will be in my prayers & I'll be anxiously awaiting your
good news in November. It's really very exciting that we have so many
babies on the way!

Barb Mom to Joey 8, Kaity 6, Rhiannon
T-18 (^i^3-3-99), Jaiden 1, Luci 1-15-01
