It's so great that you are able to focus on the positive aspect of your experience. I remember my SIL coming to the hospital the day after Jessica was born and looking at me and bursting into tears. I told her it wasn't a time to be sad. We had a beautiful day with Jessica and wonderful memories had been created. She couldn't believe I wasn't all depressed, but I really was thankful to have been chosen for the journey. Just remember though that it's also ok if you get in a funk. It's perfectly normal to switch moods in a moments notice.
