Thanks for that.  He does get to use my last name now.  I've kept his own 
surname on as his middle name though so he doesn't lose it.  He always 
introduces himself as Powell anyway (which is my last name) because he can't 
(or wont) say matthew.  
 
I couldnt get a passport for him until he was adopted as the procedures are 
just far to complicated for a kid in care.  So I'm waiting for the official 
papers to come through so I can apply for one.  We are just planning on 
Disneyland Paris so far.  I've never been to the States (except LA Airport and 
I don't think that counts).  I'm hoping we'll get to a conference someday.  You 
never know.. . 
 
And I saw that someone else explained chuffed!  I;m too slow getting to the 
emails now.  Matthew rarely sleeps during the day so I have to wait for a tired 
day to read.Demi
