Good luck Brenda. The hospital where I've had my surgeries lately went on
the elecronic system this fall -actually right before Christmas. When I
went in for my visit in December, I had to go to the "special computer" to
see the x-rays of my knees. It was quite an experience. I'm glad there are
people like you to do this.

I've read your later messages and noted that you have a high school friend
who is hospitalized due to this tragedy. I'm so sorry. After our Red Lake
school shooting just before Easter, I didn't think that anything could get
worse, but it always seems to. My prayers are with the families in Texas
who have been going through this tragedy as well as the families on the Red
Lake Reservation in Minnesota. The first funerals of the 10 + who died
were today.

And I can relate to the penicillin allergy. Every time I go into a doctor's
office, I have to describe how I reacted. I guess I'll have to do this my
entire life. My FIRST penicillin shot made my body fill with fluid from the
head down. They said that if we would have waited any longer to get to the
emergency room, my heart would have been enclosed in fluid also, and I
would have died. ABSOLUTELY no penicillin for me! It only took my parents
one-half hour to get back to the emergency room. I was about 10 years old,
but I remember it like it was yesterday. My sister had the rash, and my
brother went into an extreme asthma attack with each of their FIRST
penicillin shots. So my family deals with the more expensive antibiotics.
But we know what to do.

Peace be with you!
