Kristy,
Fauna is right. I would recommend that you put this notebook and any
other "stuff" away where you can look at it when you want or need
to. The purpose for keeping it will become more clear as time goes
by. You are so new in your grief that everything probably hurts. It
hurts to remember. It hurts to forget. It hurts to do just about
anything.
The 'new normal' will be waiting for you. But you do not need to be
in a hurry. Your timeline is your own. Good luck.
