Mike was/is that way to, in fact I didn't even ask him
to go to that first conference because I knew it
wasn't his thing, but to my surprise when I couldn't
find anyone else to go with me and Jake volunteered,
Mike was right there with him. It was something that
I needed (the support group atmosphere) and he didn't,
but I know it opened his eyes tremendously. It was
just one of those differences that we had to accept
about traveling down the road of grief. So if Glenn's
not up for it and it helps you, don't give up on it.
Just ask that he respects your right to go, I can't
imagine that he wouldn't - you'll probably make some
real tight friendships along the way.
