Beth,
I certainly don't envy your husband's job or his boss. There are people out
there that feel like we, as parents of children who have passed, should just
get over it. However, most of us can tell those people where to go. Your
husband has his hands tied. How is he doing after his procedure? Send him
my best. As far as relatives--I've got them too. I remember after I had
Zachary, my cousin's wife had called me to ask for her maternity clothes
back three weeks after Zachary had passed. She was about 9 weeks pregnant.
Needless to say, our relationship isn't quite the same. I'm never rude but
I just don't go out of my way. Fortunately, you don't have to see or talk
to your cousins, but I know it makes your blood boil anyway. I'm sorry to
hear about your Mom's situation. Is there a possiblity that her plans will
change and she'll come up by herself? I'll be hoping for you. And you're
so right when you say this is the place to vent. Where else can you say
what's on your mind and find the support of so many? Vent on girlfriend,
I'm here if you need me.
Joyce, mom to Zachary 11/15/00-11/20/00, wife to Alan, and expecting another
bundle of love 05/01/02
