  That was a BEAUTIFUL poem. I lost my first born to Trisomy 18 on September 
24, 2000. It's been 5 years and the pain is still here. I too am hoping to meet 
my beautiful angel Jasmine McKenna Hammett someday. Hopefully no time soon. 
I've since remarried and have three children. I have a 3 year old [will be on 
Wednesday 1-18] and 16 month old twin boys. Before I became pregnant with the 
twins, I had a miscarriage. I truly believe that God wanted Jasmine and my 
other child so he gave me three angels but two at the same time. Take care of 
yourself, and keep the poems coming.

Our little Eliza Jane, though your visit was short we?re glad your came. To 
hear that you were here brought us so much joy, and I felt like a child who 
just got a new toy. 
All the things I planned to buy you and spoil you in every way came crashing 
down in just one day. For you were born you had problems that?s true, so to 
another hospital is where they sent you. For better care is what you needed and 
it?s what you received there, this I know even though I wasn?t there. 
Your mom and dad were their by your side and you filled their hearts with so 
much pride. For the better you got the happier they became as they thought they 
were going to be able to take you home in a day. 
But, on Christmas Eve your health got worse and then the bad news got worse. 
For that is the day that made us all cry, because that is the day we had to say 
good-bye. As God took you heaven on that day, he also took your pain away.
In heaven you can look down on us each day and make sure that we are doing ok. 
You can heal our hearts one day at a time and we will see you again when it is 
our time. 
We love you Little Eliza Jane even though you were bearly here in our heart?s 
your memory will stay clear. As you are an angel for everyone now and we will 
see you again someday, somehow, but for now we have to say good-bye.
I would like to meet you again one day, but that time it will be when you can 
stay. As in heaven is where we will meet and there everything is perfect and 
sweet. Little Eliza we loved you so, we didn?t want to see you go. But God said 
that it was best that you return to him and be laid to rest. 
Our hearts will always cry for you and there will be days when we are blue, for 
missing you is what it will be, until we are together and happy. Take care dear 
Eliza, take care of you, and while your up there watch peanut to, for that is 
another reason I fear, that God called you to heaven for you to be near. As 
mommy and I found out the say day that you and peanut were on your way. Even 
thought I had a miscarage and you passed, you both have a bond that will 
forever last. As your big brother and peanuts to, were born close together just 
like you. 
Now you and peanut can run and play and have fun each and everyday. Just play 
nice and remember my dear that we will all be together and then we?ll be near. 
Just keep an eye on all of us and remember to tell God not to forget us. 
But for now, we will all cry, as we had to say good-bye. To our little Angel 
that was bearly here in our hearts your memory will stay clear. ~Love Aunt
