[tri-wings] Re: documentary

Brooke,
I'm so sorry that the list has been so quiet lately. We should have
been here to help you through this "stuff".
I'm sure that everyone here will be very proud of you for doing the
documentary on Fox News, as am I. I'm sure that was very hard to do,
and I can hardly believe that they won't let you see it ahead of
time. That really doesn't seem fair. Hopefully, it turns out the
way you want it to. I suppose if you would have had a contract and
been paid, you might have had more leverage. I will definitely plan
to watch. Thanks for letting us know.
Do you have other children? Now that you are through with the
documentary, you may be up to doing an interview with Maya for her
podcasts on Trisomy. I think the address was on Wings a little while
ago. It is, I think, http://www.trisomyvoices.podbean.com . She
has been interviewing moms of trisomy children so that others can get
an idea of what the situation really is. She has a trisomy daughter
and is a news reporter for WCCO, a major TV station in the Twin Cities.

I don't know that I would ever be up to doing that. I admire
anyone who can, though. I know that my daughter wouldn't be. My
granddaughter Hope was born still on Nov. 1, 2001. They knew about
the diagnosis from June 15 on. It seems so strange that she would be
six in a few weeks.

Come back on and ask for help any time. I'm sure you will have
support. It is so strange that it is so quiet.
