[tri-wings] baby update

Hi all,

I thought I would write and give a quick baby update. As you may have
noticed, my signature says that I am having a scheduled c-section on
August 10th. However, I have been having major contractions. In fact,
I spent 6 hours at the hospital yesterday with them pumping me full of
fluids hoping hydrating me would stop the contractions. Contractions
never stopped but I never dilated, so they sent me home. So, that's
where I am now until I deliver - HOME.

The night before the contractions I had a rollercoaster Trisomy moment.
I was clearing out Matthew's current closet and moving everything to his
new big boy room when I found the stack of cards we received after we
lost Grace. I also found the amnio and ultrasound report that listed
all of her many problems. UGH! I sobbed for a good hour. Cried one of
my contacts out - still can't find it! :-) I knew one of these moments
would come soon, since I remember Deanna saying it all flooded back to
her with Riley's birth, but I guess I just wasn't expecting it until
delivery time or after. Funny though, it was almost cleansing. I
thought it would send me straight back in to depression, but I actually
feel better. Strange rollercoaster we are all on, huh?

Anyway, that's my news of late. Katie and Erin, how are your
pregnancies going? I am hoping that since we haven't heard from either
of you in a little while that they are uneventful.

Hugs,

Brenda - wife to Rich, mommy to Matthew Alexander(2), Grace Alexandra
(^i^ 8/31/03 full T-13) and Nicholas Andrew (scheduled c-section
8/10/04)
