Edi, I don't know too much about Autism but a friend of ours has a son who
is autistic so I can tell you a little about him.If you try
http://www.autismuk.com/main-index.htm it goes into far more detail .

There is no known single cause for autism .Without getting into a major
debate on the risks of vaccination, our friend is convinced that her son was
born perfect and the MMR vaccine is to blame.I really don't want to debate
it and hand on heart I have to say that my children were vaccinated and are
fine .Children and adults with autism typically have difficulties in verbal
and non-verbal communication, social interactions, and leisure or play
activities. It is four times more prevalent in boys than girls. The symptoms
of autism can range from mild to severe. No two people are the same, some
will injure themselves, some will be aggressive towards others. Our friend's
son seems to dislike change ,has difficulty in expressing his needs ie he
points rather than asks .He also laughs and cries for reasons not apparent
to others ,prefers to be alone ,makes little eye contact ,and wanders off
quite alot when outdoors.

Hope this helps.....if there is anything more specific you want to know then
I will gladly ask .

hugs
