The list isn't for everyone, all the time. Some
people aren't able to post at all, and that's ok too.
If just reading helps them, then the list is doing
what it is supposed to do. No one gets offended by
people coming and going, it can get overwhelming and
some topics do hurt too much. I remember when I was
try to concieve and it seemed like everyone was
getting pregnant but me. I had to step back. I then
realized the people that understood my pain of not
being able to get pregnant were the people out here.
Everyone else couldn't possibly understand why I
wanted another child after losing one. So, I came
back. Then there's times when you just don't have the
time. That's ok too. There's always somebody to pick
up the slack.
If the list is causing more pain than it is helping
than it's not right for that person - and that's ok.
There may be a time when it does help. No one needs
additional sadness. Many times I don't respond the
first time I read the posts. If I don't have time or
just not sure what to say, or feel like I should reply
but not quite how - I'll just move on to the next one
and come back to it later. By that time others have
responded and it doesnt quite seem so important, so
hitting delete doesn't bother me as much at that
point.
You're at that point where you probably feel like you
should not be hurting so bad, but you do. That's part
of this fun too. Unfortunately our minds and our
hearts are not always in sync. I hope that you are
able to muddle through this time, still take it day by
day and eventually, the sadness won't be so
overwhelming. For some reason that one year mark was
the turning point for me.
Take care, and post when you want.
