[tri-wings] What a trip Home from Conference!

Wow!  This must have been the year for memorable trips home!  I read  
the posts on tri-family and need to share ours:
Ashlyn has had problems off and on with abdominal pain that comes on  
and then clears up on its own.  Saturday nite at the auction she was  
uncomfortable so finally went up to the room.  Sunday morn she was  
fine.  We left Denver and went north thru Wyoming, stopping at a  
little cafe in Cheyenne to have a nice lunch.  Then continued on to  
Deadwood, SD to spend the nite.  Awhile after we got there, Ashlyn  
started complaining about pain again.  We've thought maybe it's ulcers  
so thought food should help.  So we went and had a great steak  
supper--delicious!!  About an hour later she felt  worse so we went  
back to the room. She slept the nite, but felt uncomfortable when we  
were ready to leave.  We figured it woould clear up as it always had  
in the past, but this time it didn't.  We were traveling across SD in  
record time and went straight to our hospital, about 45 minutes from  
home. She ended up having her appendix  out last nite and was home by  
noon today!  The surgeon said it was red, but wasn't about to burst.  
He said they see this all the time where there's pain and then it  
clears up, and it goes on like that for awhile til all of a sudden it  
doesn't clear up!  I was glad it's finally taken care of!
She's feeling much better today!  Even with that it was a great conference!
