Hey all,
I thought I would come out of hiding while everyone else was too. First I
want to welcome all the new people and also say how sorry I am for your loss. I
have been here for now almost 3 1/2 year and I hope you get the healing from
this group as I did. Our daughter passed away and was stillborn at 28 weeks due
to T-18.You can read about our whole story at the link below. I will keep you
all in my thoughts and pray for your healing.
As for Larry and I, we are doing. Larry is always very busy and is gone
about 35 hr a week at school (for those if you who don't know Larry is doing
his masters in nursing for his CRNA) I'm doing great and enjoying motherhood.
Jhia-Vhonnii is doing well and is going to pre-school 3 days a week. He
loves his teacher and we could not ask for a better one too. He had a visit
with his bio mom at Christmas and it seem to go well. He is very distant to her
but he does not know her well at all (other then bad memories). We should have
his adoption done by June or that is what they are telling us. We have now been
at this for a year now, but part is our fault with Larry getting moved with the
Army. Vhonnii is in to puzzles and at 3 he can put together 60 picies with
little to no help.
As for Mara, She just turned one and I don't know where the time has gone.
She is taking a few steps here and there, but not walking yet. We had a
beautiful birthday cake for her and had some of our neighbors over that we have
met in the past 7 months, since we moved to San Antonio. She has also learned a
few signs so she does not have to yell at us. She is saying mama and dada, also
waves and says mum. Yesterday I got her one year pictures taken so if you would
like to see them let me know and I will e-mail you them.
Other then normal daily things we are doing great. Take care and I will pop
in again soon. I don't mean to be lurking but with Larry gone at school and
studding I don't have much free time.
God Bless,
Katie
