Hi Allyson,
Welcome back. So happy to hear you are back in the U.S.
Morganne's angel day is close to Emma's but one year earlier. Last year we
invited all of our friends and family and had a mini-memorial service with a
song (Phil Collins "you'll be in my heart") and a prayer, followed by a
balloon release. We also put a short poem I wrote with her picture in the
memoriam section of the paper. I will share it with you
IN MEMORY OF MORGANNE JAYME DYE
TRISOMY 18 ANGEL 10/8/98 - 5/13/99
One year has gone by since we saw you last
We try to go on, but we long for the past
We wish we could hold you, give you one more hug
We miss you so much, our precious little "love bug"
Our time was too short, a few months, only seven
Now you're playing with angels, somewhere in heaven.
We celebrated her life, invited friends and family over for sandwiches and
such. It was very nice, and our family was very happy they were able to share
her with us again.
Anyway, I'm very happy to see you back on the list. I loved hearing stories
of Emma and suffered with you through her heart surgery and subsequent G-tube
surgery (I think, if I remember correctly). She was a beautiful baby. I love
the picture you posted of her in her little swing. I just wanted to eat her
up she was so adorable.
Love and prayers to you and your family,
Debbie (Mom to Chelsea 18, Kimber 14, and my T-18 angel Morganne 10/8/98 -
5/13/99, and wife to Jim, my soulmate) Salt Lake City, Utah
