[tri-wings] Re: Weight issues with Vada

Stacey,

No words of wisdom from here, just prayers and love. I remember when our
oldest (now 37) was born, she had colic. Things were different then. =
After
several sleepless nights and calls to the doctor, we were asked if we =
had
any whisky. I wanted to act cool, so I said, "Sure." She suggested =
putting a
tiny bit in her milk. Neither of us drank, so I went to the liquor store =
and
bought some. I don't think I had ever been in a liquor store in my life. =
You
get pretty desperate. I don't know how we mixed it in since Shirley was
breast feeding, but somehow we figured it out. We were a couple of =
pretty
na=EFve kids. Then she threw up the whiskey and it stunk so bad! I don't
recommend it. I had another friend who said rum worked better. I've =
never
drank rum, so I don't know. One of Shirley's old boy friends left a =
bottle
of Grand Marnier which we used to marinate steaks with. That probably =
would
have been the best. You feel so helpless. Disclaimer: I don't recommend
giving the little one a nightcap. Just wanted to make you smile.=20
