Ok, Sharon, here's the waffle recipe I use. But I don't make them often
enough, as Brenda was the waffle lover and she's only home every other weekend
now--in fact I bought her a waffle iron for Christmas last year!
Waffles
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup veg oil
1 3/4 cups milk
1 Tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Heat the waffle iron. Beat the eggs until fluffy, then beat in everything else
until smooth. Pour onto hot waffle iron--takes 5 minutes or so to cook.
Serve with butter and warmed syrup or --Brenda's way--with whipped cream and
strawberries.
Keep an eye on how long they take to cook--waffle irons may vary.
Enjoy!
