ARGH! Thats awful. In the UK we seem to have a policy that means people
can "conscientiously object". I can imagine you would find it so hard,
especially where vulnerable families have been coerced, which we all know
happens. My genetics counsellor gave me an interesting speech about the
rules for "termination for abnormality" and how it reflects the way that the
whole of society views disability. (Needless to say he was my favourite
professional I encountered while pregnant).
I hope you can find some way round this, its just something that you
shouldn't have to be worrying about in a day to day situation - its like
putting your private self right in the line of fire in a work situation.
