[tri-wings] WEE UPDATE

Hello all
 
PLease excuse my slackness in keeping up with the mail.  Life has been bonkers. 
 But its all good news (FOR A CHANGE).
 
Firstly, Matthew's adoption has finally come through.  Actually it came through 
two weeks ago but apparently the court didn't think it was necessary to let me 
know! Found out through a convoluted network of hearsay.  But its good news.  
We'll finally be free of the systems and might even be able to get a passport 
soon.  
 
Secondly, matthew's paediatrician was bowled over with his progress at his last 
developmental assessment.  Initially Matthew was approximately 12-15months 
behind his chronological age in his development, particularly in locomotor and 
communication.  At his last assessment he was showing only six months behind.  
The doctor was very surprised by this and thinks we probably don't need to go 
back for a while.  HURRAH.  So I'm very chuffed.  I think the gap between 
Matthew and his peers is certainly narrowing, which is all good news. 
 
So thats us.  Its a clear run till Christmas now and hopefully it might be a 
little while of plain sailing.  (Think I've jinxed myself?!)
 
Anyway, thanks for all being there through the harder times and being here to
