Hey All,
Hear is what I found out for Build A Bear. We need to send a letter giving
our idea and where the money is going etc.. I'm going to be working with Bev
our chair person for SOFT here in Oregon getting info about SOFT and Julie C.
she is on tri-wing is going to write the proposal letter to them. So this is
what I need from all of you. Letters sharing a brief story of you child or
angel and if you want to send a picture please feel free and then send it to
me. Bev, Julie and myself will then put one big packet together and send it to
them. I think SOFT will be the best place to propose for the money to go to. I
think the money would be best used to help financially strapped families to go
to conferences and thing like that. Build A Bear told me if they took our idea
it would be a few years before anything happened. They also told me they have
many other ideas that people have sent in so we need to try and make ours a
good case. One last think I would like to get letter from other parents other
then just T-18 and 13. SOFT helps with all other chromosome disorders and would
love for those people who lurk come out of lurk and help is please. I think
this needs to be about all chromosome disorders and not just T-18 and 13.
Thanks all for your help and response. Just post if you want to help with
letters and I will e-mail you my home addy.
God Bless
Katie
