[tri-wings] Update

Dear All

A while back I asked you to keep us in your thoughts as Matthew was having a 
lot of tests for various medical conditions.  Well so far, it seems a lot of 
things are being ruled out instead of in.  The second batch of tests for 
muscular dystrophy have come back negative, so I'm hugely relieved as I was 
terrified of this.  We still have a few more things to go, but I'm feeling 
much better about it all.

I also feel Matthew is catching up hugely with his peers.  He is now walking 
and talking a bit too.  He has even started potty training alongside most of 
his peer group. He is scoring much better on his developmental tests and a 
lot of services seem to be discharging us because he is making sufficient 
progress.

Im really pleased, although still annoyed that the care system here seems to 
have let him down so badly.  This is now holding up the adoption as it turns 
out that the fact noone was assessing him medically means the correct 
paperwork was not carried out prior to him moving here.  The court will now 
not accept the papers, so we are waiting AGAIN.  Its driving me bonkers!

But anyway, thanks for all your good wishes, I'm sure all the prayers 
floating across the pond have reached us an sorted this out!
