Dear All Apologies for my lurking of late. Sorry for all the birthdays and angel days I have missed and any posts I haven't responded to. Thought I'd give a brief update on my hectic life! Matthew has now been with me nearly two months! WHY DID NO-ONE WARN ME ABOUT THIS PARENTING LARK??? So that's my excuse for lurking! He has settled in really really well and is a wee star. So far we've had his 2nd birthday and Easter to celebrate and he is a regular on the local toddler circuit. He's started walking, albeit a bit wobbly! So now he can reach EVERYTHING, computer included! He's not quite speaking yet, but we've gone cold turkey with his pacifier this week, so hopefully the words will come soon. We are STILL waiting for paediatrics to decide who will assess his development (he will be 8 by the time this happens, the way they are going). Thankfully we have a great health visitor who has managed to bypass paediatrics somehow and get us directly in to physio, speech therapy, orthoptics, occupational therapy and the dietician. He's off today for his second trip out with his granny (so I'm constantly checking my mbile in case any terrible fate has befallen them!) GOodness knows what I'll be like when I have to go back to work! It's just a shame we all don't live closer, so we could meet up and they could all play together - he has a particular eye for the ladies!
