[tri-wings] Re: Trying to cope - Nikia

(((Nikia)))

Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your son, Jason. I know exactly
what you mean when you said that even though you only had Jason 3 days, he
had such a huge impact on so many people in so many ways. 21 years ago,
when I had Jordan for a short 13 days, his life had the same impact on my
life and others. The only way I believe I survived was knowing that
everything happens for a reason and that I had others who counted on me to
be their "rock", their caretaker and their sustenance.

I am from Dallas. Jordan was born at Baylor-Dallas. I currently live in
Garland. I wanted you to know that there was someone 'close to home' that
had been through some of what you have been through. If you ever want to
chat offline or by phone, please feel free to email me at
teri.athome@xxxxxxxxxxxx I know that when Terrence is deployed, things will
be very difficult for you. Do you have other family members here in Dallas
for support?

Again, I am so sorry for the loss of your baby boy. People here on the
'list' are wonderful, caring, nurturing individuals who have all experienced
a loss such as ours. Feel free to lean on all of us.
