[tri-wings] Trisomy Awareness in the UP

Hello everyone!

Trisomy awareness is reaching the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! Noah's Never
Ending Rainbow has been approved to do a fundraiser at Wal-Mart, 1920 South
Stephenson Avenue, Iron Mountain, Michigan on Saturday, July 24th from 10:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The fundraiser is being spear-headed by a supporter of Noah's Never Ending
Rainbow who is also a Mother of a child with Trisomy, Gina Anderson! Gina
and her family reside in Crystal Falls, Michigan wherein her youngest son
Taylor has Trisomy 8 mosaic. Gina along with her friends and family are
volunteering their time and efforts to conduct a car wash and will be
selling hot dogs, brats and sloppy Joe's at Wal-Mart of Iron Mountain with
all proceeds benefiting Noah's Never Ending Rainbow. A majority of the food
was generously donated by Wal-Mart and other local businesses. I have also
submitted an application to Wal-Mart for matching funds and if accepted,
Wal-Mart will match up to $1,000.00 raised from this event, YEA!!!

Not only are we raising funds, we are also raising awareness of
Trisomy...two local radio stations and The Daily News are promoting the
event AND, I just got off the phone with WLUC-TV6 and they are coming to the
fundraiser on Saturday to interview Gina and Taylor, promote the efforts of
Noah's Never Ending Rainbow and to educate and raise awareness of Trisomy
within their community! We will keep you posted on how the interview goes!
For those of you that met Taylor at the conference, you know that he
absolutely loves the camera so I have no doubt that the interview will be
wonderful!

A special THANKS goes out to Gina and her family for volunteering their time
to support the efforts of Noah's Never Ending Rainbow!

After this fundraiser has concluded, if anyone is interested is conducting
one at their local Wal-Mart or elsewhere, just let me know as I will help
you plan, organize and promote with your local media! Just one more way to
raise funds but more importantly, raise awareness of Trisomy!

If you, a family member or friend live in the Upper Peninsula, please come
out to Wal-Mart in Iron Mountain on Saturday to show your support!!!

Angel blessings to all.
