[tri-wings] Trisomy 18 families

Hi All 

I got a call today from an old coworker, she is on the ethics committee at the 
medical center here in Westchester, NY, the committee was called together 
regarding a baby who was born with a heart defect.  They were going to do the 
needed surgery until they found out the baby has Trisomy 18.  I have very 
little info but the parents do want to talk to a family with a child with the 
same disorder. If you think you might be able to help please contact me off 
list at rooneyfam5@xxxxxxx ASAP.  They family and the committe have like 5 days 
before their decision has to be made.
