[tri-wings] Re: Trick or treating

Turns out I wasn't the only one..we only got a handful of Trick or Treaters
this year as opposed to our usual throng of kids. We had 6 bags of candy and
barely went through two. Tiffany wasn't too disappointed told her that all
people aren't nice and I don't know the nice ones from the not nice ones. She
took it well but wanted to know why there are bad people...hard to answer
that!!! She was a great helper and loved passing out the candy. And with 4
bags left she didn't miss out on any herself!!! Hopefully next year things
will be better. She had a great party at school so at least she got to
celebrate there.
BTW, I also remember having a wonderful time Trick or Treating when I was
a child. The whole neighborhood came out and people were everywhere. Sad that
things have to change. We also have that custom here about the outside light.
If yours is on then you are home and are giving out candy...off means no
candy being given out. I always went to the houses with outside lights
on..kind of an "unwritten" Halloween rule.
