I'm not sure if this is true either. I'll need to look at my bottle.

This I did know. My mom has been on heavy duty pain killers for quite a
long time. And none of her doctors are worried about it even when we, her
children, have asked about it. And we have only asked because she has one
sister that is soooooo against any kind of drug or pill that she gives my
mom a bad time ALL of the time.

I didn't know this either. But I can see that they would have a hard time
stopping you for DUI (driving under influence) if you weren't driving
recklessly. That makes sense. But on spot checks, anyone in possession of
narcotics had better have a prescription to carry them, or they will be
arrested even if their driving isn't influenced because just having them in
possession is illegal.

Again, my mom.

Well, since I've been in constant pain for well over 5 years and have taken
several kinds of heavy duty pain killers, I don't think I'm affected
either. But last summer, I didn't drive because my shoulder was in such
severe pain that I would not have been able to concentrate. And because my
knee replacement was on my right knee, I didn't feel that I had control of
my ability to accelerate or slow down properly. I was just being a safe
passenger in the vehicle.
Thanks for all of the info, Karen. What kind of job do you do, besides
being list mom for all of these lists?
