Stacey,
I can't even count how many days of missed work I've had this year, but I
did ask to go to the annual ESL Coordinators' State Conference the end of
April to get all of our district's information regarding money and law
changes, etc. They told me "NO" in no uncertain terms. I guess that means
that I've missed ENOUGH.

And as far as the meds go --- maybe you shouldn't type either :*)
I've been on tylenol 3 for short periods of time - and even for longer
periods of time. They say that you cannot drive, and I didn't last summer
or after my surgeries, but there are men in our small town that have had the
same knee replacement as I've had and are driving within 2 weeks. And I
know they are still on Tylenol 3. I've got some now, but I'm not using it
at the moment. They gave me cough medicine with codeine in it, too. I
don't think this doctor even looked at my meds list. I'm smart enough to
know that I can't take two drugs with codeine!!! I'd be flat on my back in
no time at all. (And making many more typing errors than just "frive".)
