[tri-wings] Re: Totally off topic toothache

Tracy,
I have had 2 root canals done previously and they don't bother me. I do have
them knock me out for them though. I have an Ok pain tolerance, but when I
hear the noises it sends me over the edge, so it's better for all if I am
asleep.
The ones I have had before worked, I just hope this one does. I have been on
antibiotics for over 48 hours now and tylenol 3 for the same time and I
still have sever pain, can't sleep, only eating soft foods (scrambled eggs,
applesauce, and the like)...maybe i'll lose a few pounds this way :) But
neither of the meds seem to be working. I called the dentist this morning
and they won't give me anything else...so, now I'm on 3 days of missed work
(can't frive or operate machinery with the tylenol) and very miserable.
Thanks everyone for your ideas, unfortunatley, nothing is working. My next
step is to change dentists...not fun either.
