Her life and ministry in the Belgian Congo-now Zaire is the story of a =
hero.
After Independence in 1964, the country was ravaged by the Simba =
Rebellion.
Helen, caught up in the horror of the revolution, was beaten, raped and
imprisoned by the rebels. She had been coming toward total trust in God =
all
of her life, between bouts of depression, often brought on by overwork =
and
by Satan's insinuation that she was not really a Christian because she =
was
capable of spells of anger and bitterness and other sins.

The news stories don't tell about the real heroes. It is so easy to get
caught up in worry about the condition of the world. But real heroes do
exist. Many are people in this list. You guys make my day.=20
