I also have a daughter who suffers from allergies.  Her symptoms come in
July and end in September.  They are not near as bad as some people's but
she gets pretty miserable too and I can't even let her play outside.  She
also gets the swollen eyes.  For the last 3 years we've had episodes where
her eyes almost get swelled shut.  It looks awful!  Haven't had that this
year yet (keeping my fingers crossed), they're just red and itchy.  I feel
bad for your little guy with the diaper rash.  I know it breaks my heart
when my 1 1/2 year old gets them.  He cries so hard and they're not even as
bad as what you described.   You've certainly got your hands full around
there.  I hope you're able to find a little peace for yourself and your new
little person.  Glad everything is looking good with him or her.
