My Rebecca was born with 4 holes in her heart................ we were =
never
offered surgery  and being medical model ( I am an RN ) I totally =
believed
them on there prognosis of Rebecca.  That said she lived to be 14/2  =
years
old.  Surgery is a tuff call, other kids have had it and come out worse =
it.
In hind sight I  wish I had pushed for it but  then who known's the out =
come

As I wrote several days ago my Amanda is doing great, Thank God!!

We are now involved on the huge decision of whether going for the =
operation
or not because her VSD is very big and until now her heart is balancing. =
The
Cardiologist explained us how it is possible and why it is not causing =
her
big problems.  The point is if we don't go for the operation it might =
start
creating problems later as she grow up.

If anyone could write me about their experience so we have a better idea =
on
everything and could take the best decision for our Amanda. It is really =
the
biggest and hardest decision I have ever taken in my life.
