Hi, Atousa. The career change thing seems to be hitting lots of
people these days. And 3 months of stewing about whether or not it
will happen is never fun. My sister went through that. Tough deal.
But she has a new job now and is doing great. In 1986, my husband
went through the loss of a job because the small business where he
worked, a 7-Up distributorship, in Tracy sold out to the Coke
distributor in another town 25 miles away. We had cashed (and paid
bills with) his last paycheck on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Then, on Monday morning, he was told that they would be closing the
plant. Tuesday morning, it was closed! THAT was really tough,
especially with 2 kids (10 & 14) and only a month from Christmas. I
don't think you are in a small town, so I'm hoping and praying that
George finds something that he likes and finds it before they do the
job reductions. Just another challange that life brings, to say the
least.

Well, I've already written to Gloria about picture sharing. I'd love
to see pictures of your cruise. With you on the open water and
Gloria's family in Hawaii, I should have lots to dream about.
