Joyce , thanks for the prayers and positive vibes.I think they are combining
two parts into one on Friday.I know from their info pack that they have to do a
home visit but I understood it to mean at a later date(along with police record
checks and character references). They did say it was different to the normal
procedure purely and simply because I specified that I didnt want a 100%
healthy kiddie.Normal time scale for adoption is between 9 and 12 months but
I'm not so sure with special needs.Could be quicker(hopefully) but could be
longer, I guess depending on what the needs are. They have told me already that
they class special needs as including,Downs(being perfectly honest and I havent
told them this is my hope)autism, deafness, cerebal palsy, needing extra help
with school etc etc.

Matthew is expecting them to be a football player...doesnt matter if its male
or female..just needs a ball...I explained that there could be a chance that
he/she cant run or play as well as he does..he replied it was ok they could be
goalkeeper :-))

Charlotte ,I think, would like the child to be completely dependant on her.She
is at the mothering and smothering stage in her life and any baby/toddler is a
magnet to her.The possibilty of a baby is very small..but the child will almost
definately be younger than Charlotte...something to do with the need for
existing kids in the family to still be in the same pecking order :-))

big hugs
