[tri-wings] Thomas family news (preg mentioned)

Merry Christmas to everyone!
 

I'm almost scared to say it out loud, but a few days ago Rich and I got
the best early Christmas gift ever.  We are expecting another baby.  It
is such a strange feeling of immense joy mixed with worry.  Boy,
remember the good old days of "ignorance is bliss"?  When you didn't
know all the bad things that can happen during pregnancy?  

 

I have always been one of those that believed in telling about
pregnancies right away.  I have always felt that my friends and family
would share in our sadness should something happen, so why not let them
be happy with us in the beginning...even if it is for a short time.
But, after the year we have had (miscarriage in February then followed
by losing Grace with Trisomy 13 in August), I feel like I might need to
keep our good news a secret.  

 

Any of you that have gone through this have any words of wisdom for us?
