My heart breaks for you.  What a rollercoaster you and your family have been 
on.  And you've taken each and every step with love, grace and pride.  To 
accept everything you had to accept and continue along, loving Michael for who 
he was and standing by him through the tough times and now this. . . .   It 
must be very hard to take and you must be desperate for answers.  
 
I hope you get some, to help you through this difficult time.  It must be so 
frustrating for you, knowing that he did not receive the support and care that 
he should have.  But you have done EVERYTHING in your power to be his parents 
and nothing will change that, disagnosis or no diagnosis.  Sometimes there is 
just no explanation and however hard we wish for definitive answers, there are 
none.  
 
I will be thinking of you and your family at this difficult time and hope that 
somehow you can begin to make some sense of this terrible mess.
